This task is important because it checks if appropriate process controls are in place. It also ensures that the process performance is sustained and that delivery has a proper hand off from transition team. The documented lessons learned, all processes, procedures and detailed work instruction documentation and knowledge as well as any proposals to improve the processes are passed on to the on-going support/ Service Delivery Team.
During this stage following actions are performed:

New process conditions (if any) are documented and monitored using statistical process control methods

Process capabilities are re-assessed, process controls are implemented, and the transition process is completed

It is ensured that Service Level Agreements are in place and Key Performance Indicators agreed and reporting mechanisms are in place

It is ensured that ‘Hypercare period’ governance calls are agreed with Client. |
